The majority of the people who read my blog posts have some sort of connection with me. Six and a-half years ago, I didn’t realize that I would build relationships through the action of writing a personal blog. My readers know I have an open door policy and that they can visit me whenever it’s convenient to them. People come into our lives for a reason and it might feel coincidental or surreal. But it’s not a coincidental at all. The Universal mind has conspired to make our paths cross.
During the writing process I tend to keep in mind, that my words and messages have an effect on the people who read them. Sharing bits and pieces of my life, my thoughts and voicing my opinions on the pages of my site is not only personal, but it’s also a way to reach out and touch others. My words could be ones that inspire someone, or brings them comfort. People are important … they are even fragile at times, and because of my belief in what is inside of me, I continue to weave a web of readers and cultivated friendships throughout the vast Internet. We are not alone.

Happy to be a brand new connection!
I am also glad of this connection Patrick. 🙂
You are not alone! The world is a little bit brighter with you around. Thank you for your thoughts, recipes, and photos.
Frank, I agree I am not alone … quite the opposite. I understand there are millions who do feel like they are aimlessly hunting and soaring through cyberspace, without an anchor or a place to feel at home. This is the main reason I am a member of BlogCatalog! Thank you for allowing me to share my bits and pieces with you! Hugs Frank!!
That’s how I end my emails….We are not alone….
People used to walk through my bedroom, on Staten Island, when I was five. Mother would tell me to go back to sleep. Years later, I found out that I had ancestors who were in the Hudson Valley and some on Staten Island. Ha ha!
Thank you for stopping by Terry.
That’s the thing about writing. It’s all very personal and it’s our own individual thoughts on paper but you may never know just how much of an impact it can have on someone else’s life. Some may love it and have good things to say. Other may be offended by it and have negative reactions. Some may stay for the long run and others will flee for good. Either way, all you can do is write with good intentions.
I’ve met some great bloggers along the way.
You’re a great blogger, and I’m so pleased we’re connected on BC. Cheers! 😀
You have to reach out, open yourself up to others. Don’t wait to be approached or discovered. Make yourself available to others and you’ll never feel alone.
Precisely Marty!
I’m happy that you see this, too. Sharing our gifts without being asked is the right thing to do, and the Universe will direct our paths.
Theresa, thank you for encouraging (nagging) me to start blogging and writing. It opened up a whole new world for me, full of great new friends and opportunities. Writing set me free in a way I’d never experienced!
A little sister sometimes knows best. Eh?
