Opinions Are Important

First you have to think something over, mull it over in your mind and look at it from all sides. Consider the pros and cons and if it is important or not. Opinions matter because too many of us do not examine a thing or a subject enough, and jump headlong into a situation and realize oops … should have done it differently. Sometimes when this occurs we express expletives and later have to pay the price.  Opinions matter and in order to have a thoughtful opinion on a matter one should really think things through.

Thoughtful choices. Life is filled with choices. Opinions and thoughful examination lead to thoughtful choices. Opinions are derived from both good and bad. You have it right on! Thank you!

It’s also important I think, to recognize the human factor, people aren’t perfect and we expect them to be. We have this massive social list that never seems to be what’s usual. Once generation feels comfortable with one set of rules, men with another and various social groups another. It’s a little mind boggling to be sure.

Along with expectation comes surprises … good and … not so good. I believe we need to be more tolerant of others, just as you point out.

The choices we make, no matter how we become careful about them, aren’t always the way we wanted them to be. But if we spend more time pondering on what comes out of a choice, we will be saved from being hurt, when negative feedbacks happen.

Theresa, I was away for a considerable time, now I found you again.

Thought-provoking post. I find it very important to act on problems rather than react to them. There are very few situations that require an immediate response from us, unless its a case of matter and death, Ii like to take a little time to think things through.
When it comes to opinions, I prefer to gather information first rather than allowing others to sway me one way or the other.
    Smiles and blessings.

Thank you. I am mindful of sayings:
“Marry in haste repent at leisure”
“Better to be safe than sorry”
    “Waste not, want not”
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”

    Thinking works.

You’re so right. That is the thing I have to stop and remind myself, since my default position is: When all else fails, read the directions.
