Eye Of The Moon

Eye of The Moon
Oh radiant shining gleam
Magnificent alabastar light
You honor us all
By your presence
I yearn to embrace drink
Your beauty with my eyes
To learn of such secrets
You have seen through ages
Your face partially hidden
Reveals the Eye of The Moon
Impartially dazzling me
To reach and touch splendor
My heart pulled senses reel
Your haunting rhapsody
Drives me into the night
To stare at your golden hue

You have really captured the mystery of the moon! I like to see the moon when it is very small and sharp, like a cat’s claw.

I also love the photograph, but alas, I did not take this photo. I do not know where it came from. But I did create this poem. For that I may take credit.
The moon has long fascinated me and I am always drawn to her beauty.

This is very lovely. I particularly liked and related to the line: “To learn of such secrets You have seen through ages”
That line is a punchy one. I felt it in my gut. Thank you.
