My Pastillage`, originally uploaded by Theresa111.
Made from a few ingredients which harden but is still extremely fragile, pastillage` is used to create a centerpiece or a holder for desserts. I am quite pleased with this piece.
I use this photo as my Avatar. The fruit is colored marzipan. My grapefruit is rather large though. Artistic License! February 2005.

Those are beautiful! Pixie wanted to try to eat one of the bananers, but I had to tell her they are not real. She was a little bit sad about that.

Guess what! When we had our Final French Buffet, someone did eat them and ooh … they were three months old. I had them there for display only and some unlucky person tried or did eat them. Sorry Pixie, you cannot eat these sugar banners.
